On the 21st December 2007 Blakedown Landscapes (SE) Limited where appointed to begin work converting the University Of the Art’s existing parade ground into an outdoor art gallery. The new gallery is Europe’s largest outdoor gallery, billed as a ‘Gallery without walls’. The agreed Contract Sum is £1,269,742.09, but was subsequently later reduced by the client. The job was delayed by 2 weeks whilst on site due to design alterations but was delivered under budget by circa £10k.
