Millbridge appointed on new project in the Caribbean
February 2008Millbridge is pleased to announce it has been appointed Project Manager and Contract Administrator for The Island Club Villas project on behalf of The St Lucia Golf and Country Club. The site is situated in the tropical paradise resort of Cap Estate, on the northern tip of St Lucia.
The Island Club, set amongst rolling hills between the Atlantic Ocean and the sparkling Caribbean Sea, is a private enclave of 164 one and two bed apartments plus central amenities including a restaurant, swimming pool and hotel facilities situated within the heart of St Lucia’s premier 18-hole championship golf course.
The building contract value of the project is approximately US$50m and infrastructure works will commence in February 2008, with the overall completion of the first phase of apartments in December 2009.
Group Company Director Graham Clarke comments “This is our first capital project in the Caribbean and will form an important stepping stone for our international experience, building on from our growing golf and residential based projects in Europe.”
